该放手时，就别乱抓

几年前当我母亲身患末期癌症的时候，我每个星期三都得陪伴她去看中医舒缓病情。因为她家住三楼而又没电梯，所以我得和我父亲合力，他搬母亲的轮椅，我背母亲上下楼，才能顺利地带母亲去看中医。

每当我背着母亲上下楼的时候，我的双臂得托着母亲得双腿，而母亲的双手因该抓住我的肩膀才会平稳。有好几回，我冷不胜防地，母亲突然伸手去抓楼梯扶手，差点我就失去平衡而人仰马翻。

母亲解释她的一番好意，说：“我看你没手去抓楼梯扶手，所以我就伸手去帮你抓咯”。

你怎麽可以给我一个我不会解答的难题

最近小六会考的数学题让许多考生与家长不满，他们认为有一部份题目设得太难了，考生因此无法获得高分，更别盼拿满分了。

到了社会工作，谁会特地为你量身订做你会胜任的任务与解决的难题？

这些学生以后到社会工作，会不会问老板：

“喂！老板，你怎麽可以给我这麽难的任务？有没有容易些的，完成之后又可以升职加薪的？”

TC version 2

After the passed six months of treatment, finally I'm ready to go back to my normal life.

However, I feel that I'm not the previous TC anymore in terms of both physically and mentally. Physically, my body had been through a series of damaging and healing processes, there are a number of degradations which may not be fully recovered or even further deteriorate in future. They are,

1. Salivary glands damage that leads to dry mouth

2. Possibility of tooth decay and fallen tooth

3. Possibility of jaw bone death

4. Neck muscles stiffness

Mentally, I have to prepare myself for the worst case scenario that I may not live beyond 5 years from now. As such, I shouldn't get myself into any further long term commitment in life. From now on, I'm living by the day, everyday is a bonus to me. I will enjoy myself and cherish every moment with family and friends, or even being alone.

This Marina Militare watch is a "cheong" version of the Panerai Luminor Power Reserve. I bought the "cheong" version as I like the Panerai design very much, but I know I will never buy it at its ridiculously high price.

This Omega Sea Master is my favourite too, but it's not mine, it belongs to my wife.

一寸光阴一寸金

Yesterday there was a special petrol promotion at $1 per litre, only valid between 10 am and 6 pm at a number of petrol stations.

There were long queues of cars at those participated petrol stations. Generally, one had to queue for about 45 minutes, in order to enjoy a saving of about $40 on petrol price.

I wonder why so many people were willing to sell their time at about $1 per minute.

After I did my maths, yes, $1 per minute is indeed very attractive as compared to our salary.
